“The light wins over the darkness”

This painting speaks about the eternal battle between good and evil and the once again victory of good over evil. I approached this painting with the idea that an eternal battle that has been raging since the dawn of time, would have many layers of history. So, I decided to do many layers of paint to give the feel of a historic battle. I would have to say that there at least 30 layers of paint on this piece as can be attested by the dramatic textures that bring it life.
